30th Birthday

The weekend before the big WDW trip we celebrated my 30th with family and friends. There were 3, 2 year olds in the house at one time - awesomeness!

Princess Half Marathon 2013 and 30th Birthday Trip Part VI

On our last day at WDW we spent our morning at Animal Kingdom. We started off at Tusker House for breakfast - my absolute favorite place for breakfast.

Another picture with "Hot Dog" for my nephew. I have tried so hard to get him to say Mickey. 

My last birthday cupcake of the trip! :) I even got a card from Mickey and friends - another reason to love going to TH!! It's not a WDW trip without a Mickey Waffle. 

After breakfast we had fast passes to use for the safari. I love that ride. So beautiful.

We went to see Nemo and Lion King. I think I slept through Nemo again this time. I love it but was ready to sleep at that point. The Lion King is almost always amazing. Love it! 

We headed back to the room after a quick and small lunch. Finally a nap!!! 

After resting, we made our way to MK for dinner at the Plaza and to see and do a few more things we had missed. 

We are a bunch of characters! 

We rode my favorite MK ride, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, under the stars and on the second ride under the fireworks. Best time to ride it in my opinion! After that we did last minute shopping before the park closed. I had Mickey Treats to buy!! 

Before leaving we got to see the castle show. Love this, too!! 

Good bye until next time!!! 

The next morning, we were up bright and early to check out of our home for the week. :( 

We landed to cold and nasty weather back home but with more memories to cherish! 

And Mickey Treats, too! Can't forget the Mickey Treats! 

Now this is what I am talking about!!! Best treat ever!! 97 days until I can have another. :)

Special thanks to my cheerleaders for putting up with early mornings, late nights, and a crazy packed touring plan. Let's do it again real soon or maybe let's just go shopping! :)  

Princess Half Marathon 2013 and 30th Birthday Trip Part V

 On Monday we were off to Hollywood Studios! I think we actually made it close to opening. I renewed my AP! Woohoo! Then I was off to get fast passes and then wait at the line for my cheerleaders. 

Someone asked Mr. P to take out his ear (have seen this before) and this time he dropped it!! Oops! During one of our two rides we got all the way through the line and up the steps and were asked to leave because the ride was down. :( They did give us a one time fast pass to use at anytime that day or the next few days. 

We had a short wait for this one. Mom's favorite! 

And used fast passes later to ride it again! 

A friend had given me some one time fast passes they received the day before, so we didn't have to wait long for this fun ride! 

It's Chip!! 

Another fun character interaction! Poor Mike is awkward because his arms do not move. Sully ran around the area like he was running a race but would have to stop because he was having trouble breathing! ha! He was funny with the kid before me, too. 

He hugged me then started squishing me... I am pretty sure I screamed because I was about to fall over. So fun though! I may not ever grow up! :)

Mickey attempted to communicate with me in character sign. I can never interpret character sign. The CM with the photographer interpreted for me. He said he could not get up that early to run. He did like my medals though. :)

We had fantasmic dining tickets and had planned to go back and rest after lunch but ended up staying all day long. I was just a tiny bit tired.  

We watched another favorite but could live without seeing show. Good rest time for me! The cheerleaders decided not to go to EMH at Epcot and opted for an early night. I was ready for more fun!! So off I waited for a bus to Epcot to meet up with friends one more time. 

We had the best time visiting and roaming Epcot. We all rode Test Track together, too. Another night of closing down the park after another day of going non-stop. So worth it!! 

Next up is Animal Kingdom! 

Princess Half Marathon 2013 and 30th Birthday Trip Part IV

After eating with the princesses, I raced back to our room for a quick shower and got ready for the day. Then headed back to Epcot for my refund. While there I met up with Michele and we walked around World Showcase, got a picture with some characters, and tried out the new Test Track. 

Hate that my 5k medal was turned over. 

The new Test Track is very different. I think I like it though. Will have to try it out again. 

After walking around Epcot, we headed to 'Ohana for our big group dinner. It was so great seeing everyone after the race. I was beyond tired since I had not stopped all day after the race. The food there always picks me up though! My favorite place for sure! 

They made anyone celebrating their birthday get up for all to sing to us.

Now ready to tackle EMH at MK. My cheerleaders came too but couldn't hang until the park closed. We did in fact close the park after getting up around 2 AM that morning. We might be a little bit crazy.

Princess Half Marathon 2013 and 30th Birthday Trip Part III

Race morning!!! Another crazy early morning - around 2:30 AM I think. On the first bus at WL but instead of taking those who were on the bus, we had to wait for the bus to fill which took a while. 

We made it to the holding area and visited with friends before heading to the corrals. 

We rode the WL bus together!

Oh how I have been wanting this picture for a year! 

Had to see him again - this year Alice was with him! Characters rotate for breaks so it may not be all of the characters from the movie when you run up to them. Never know who you will see! 

The croc wasn't with them when we got to the line this year. Guess he needed a quick break! 

No fairies with them either. :( Just glad it was my princess because they were rotating with Cinderella this year.

Hate I didn't get a picture with my cheerleaders. :( They had ChEAR squad shirts on that I ordered for them as part of the ChEAR squad package. We were in a hurry to make it to a last minute reservation to breakfast with the Princesses so I didn't even think about getting a picture of them. 

We had to wait for open moments in the race to cross over to another side of Epcot and then walked quickly to our reservation. Because I did not plan on this until during the race, I didn't have my discount card with  me. Fortunately they let me come back that afternoon and get a refund. Unfortunately I didn't get a nap.

Did get a picture of mom at breakfast with her most favorite character. She was so excited to meet her! haha! You can just see part of her fun cheer shirt. I was sitting in the middle and was too tired to get up for princess pictures.
