Work in Progress

This is Sally being helpful while I unloaded my car!

While this may look like a hissing cat, it is in fact a cat in mid-yawn!

I have a lot to unpack. Where is Sally?
On the boxes of course!

My boring room with random coffee table and lots of boxes.

Dad painting the boring walls a bright light blue (with a hint of green)!

After moving back home, my plan went into action. I cleaned out my room and re-organized some things. My dad worked hard all day Saturday painting my room a light blue that is bright but doesn't show in the pictures. I am currently working on unpacking and working on my re-organization quest before starting work on Monday!! More pics will come as the room gets put together.

Moving Day and Week of Fun: Part 6

Today was the big moving day. The movers were here at 8am sharp and had the truck loaded around 9:30. I stayed behind to clean while my parents headed home to direct the movers where everything should go. I will have my work cut out for me when I get back to try to organize an already furnished room with 3 years worth of stuff from my apartment. Maybe I should take before and after pictures! I hope to finish before I start working...I am thinking that might not completely happen, but don't worry mom...I have a plan! I have cleaned almost everything here and will finish loading up the last of my apartment tomorrow when my parents get back. I also plan on going to church or at least Sunday School tomorrow since it will be my last time here.
Tonight I continued my week of fun with a classmate. We went back to California Pizza Kitchen since there is not one in West TN. I tried to go buy the Nashville platter at Swoozie's, but they had already closed. There is a Life is Good store down there, too, with the softest shirts ever! I didn't buy anything, but they have really cute PJ's and flip flops...I love flip flops, but I couldn't decide on a pair. We then made our way over to the mall to Christie Cookies...very sweet but good. Ginny, I thought of you since you had them for one of your birthday celebrations at Union (at least I think that is where they came from). I did stop in Starbucks while we were there to get a Nashville mug. They have created city mugs, so I think it will be fun to have and maybe collect more if I ever get to go on a vacation!
Tomorrow is another busy day with the week of fun continuing, loading my car, and church!
