Ornaments

Some of my favorite Christmas decorations are our ornaments and especially our dough ornaments we get every year. A lady from Arkansas makes these for us...we send her a picture and description and this is what we get...I love it! We are currently in the process of putting up our family tree, so I thought I would share some pictures of the dough ornaments. FYI...We always use colored lights on the family tree, white on the Alabama tree (not going up this year b/c of time), white on my tree from my apartment that sometimes goes in my room (not this year), and on my XO tree that may go up in my room if I have time. In case you all were curious about our lights. :)

My favorite hanging on the tree.

I can't wait to see this year's dough ornaments!! I ordered them a few weeks ago, so I hope to get them soon.

I know, this is not a dough ornament, but it is a very special ornament. I made this in the first grade in Mrs. Allen's class. It has seen better days and is practically falling apart, but I have to put this one on the tree every year. I remember being so proud of it when I hung it up the first time. It was really pretty and sparkly, too! Now, not so much, but I just love it!

Yet Another Victory for the Tide!

Saturday was the big Alabama/Auburn game, and I got to go for the first time. I am so glad this was my first...what a game!!! I had a ticket one year but gave it away to go shopping and ended up guarding the TV at the tailgating spot instead. :( The morning started off rainy but cleared up a little bit for the game. Luckily our seats are covered, so we did not get wet when it rained a little during the game. We did not sit down the entire game, and my body felt it the next morning! I also took way too many pictures once again! Enjoy!

Talking to our neighbors who grew up in the same town as dad, and he had my dad's mom as a kindergarten teacher(or 1st grade)...so random...such a small world!

In the picture above are friends of my parents and Jason and Jessica. Find the football...Jessica is right behind it in the grey jacket walking to her seat...scan to the right and Jason is at his seat with white hat, long sleeve crimson shirt and drink in hand. Our seats are across the field from them, but I got this from field level before the game. We are too far apart when I tried this another game from our seats.
