Not Quite Finished

Well, I know you all probably thought I was finished posting pictures from the best vacation ever...I even thought I was finished, but look what came in the mail today. I went a little crazy and bought the CD of all the pictures taken by FP CM's at the parks. I just could not decide on which one/ones to order, so I went for the CD of all of them instead.
You can edit pictures to add borders, so I did that on a lot to increase the amount of pictures I would have to justify the amount I spent on this lovely CD. Next time the plan is to get more pictures to really make buying the CD worthwhile. Although this time was really worth it because if I had not bought it, I would not have had the group pictures of the family...
...nor would I have the most cheesy of cheesy pics of us holding little Tink! My dad looks kind of confused in this picture. I can't wait to start scrapbooking now that I have these pictures, too.
Also, speaking of mail...I have a ton coming in this week which makes me beyond excited. A new lens is on the way, the best chicken noodle soup kit ever, tons of cute fabric for all of my future creations (I have been ordering since Christmas...I think I probably have plenty to get me started, but I just keep finding more cuteness), and a CD of pictures to make the cutest little picture/slide show DVD ever! So much fun to do...maybe I should rethink my hobbies especially since I have not used my days off to work on these hobbies...maybe when it gets warmer, and I have increased motivation to get out of bed.

Dough Ornaments 2008

Here are our 2008 dough ornaments! They are so cute this year as they are every year!! Also pictured are some ornaments from Disney World...had to get some since we were there at Christmas!!!
Even though I was only there for 5 1/2 months, I had to get an ornament for my rehab position with my favorite scrubs!

This one is so so cute! (Belmont graduation)

We could not think of any for Jason this year, so since he likes to grill, we decided that would be a good one this year. I think I thought of something else but we already ordered this.

This is Jessica's graduation ornament!

This Mickey is from the Wilderness Lodge where we stayed.

This one was at several parks. I thought it was too cute!

I wanted to get one from Germany in Epcot...had planned on the glass blown ornaments, but we found these and could not resist.
*I have been blogging for a year now*

Even More Pictures!

Here are some pictures that may or may not be in one of many (maybe too many) Disney posts!
Outside our home away from home.

The beautiful tree inside our home for the week! Loved this place and would stay there again and again!

I took this while on the boat heading back to the lodge.

Fort Wilderness

Ok, so I already posted this picture, but it is one of my most favorites and was hard to get a good picture of, so I had to share it again.

Same tree as pic #2..this one was at night.

Most of these pictures are Christmas trees from the parks or resorts. I didn't label all of them...can you match each tree to the park where it is located?
Hint: There are only 3 park trees pictured. I missed out on one park tree picture.

Now it's time...

to say goodbye

to all our company.

M-I-C...See you real soon

K-E-Y...Why? Because we like you!

M-O-U-S-E!

Back on the magical express and heading home after a wonderful and much needed family vacation!

Disney Trip: Part VII

After a wonderful and fun breakfast, we made our way back to the Magic Kingdom. There were some things we missed the night before and some things we wanted to try out again.
I wanted a picture with Cinderella's castle in the background. We did get one of the whole family, but we will have to order that one if we want it.

This ride was one of the family favorites. I even liked it as a little 6 year old back in the day. The best part about this ride was at night during the Christmas party. The sky was so clear and full of stars. It just made the whole experience that much more magical.

I LOVE this picture. Something about it just screams fun and crazy Donald Duck. I am growing to love that duck!

Cute Mickey having some fun during the parade. We did actually miss this parade. I ran out of the restaurant to see this float passing by and made a mad dash to get ahead of the float and catch some pictures!

What were we eating during this parade? Enjoying a little piece of dessert...Ooey gooey toffee cake I think is the name. I really believe it is the best dessert I have ever put in my mouth. I mean seriously. I ate it all! (We all had our own dessert...another perk to the meal plan!)
We asked how it was made and received a recipe. I cannot wait to make it...maybe for my birthday unless I decide to pack up and head back on my special day.

Buzz...gotta love him! I mean we did spend a lot of our time with him on one of the coolest rides ever!

Kind of blurry, but I was probably being rushed to go find a spot for the parade. Cinderella and her friends found a way to make the castle beautiful for Christmas with the help of her Fairy Godmother...very cheesy but a cute little show.

During the Spectromagic parade. We did not have a great view because of the line police.

Our day was over and sadly it was time to say goodbye. I was not really ready to get ready to come home. This trip was all I had imagined and more. I am so glad we had the opportunity to spend time as a family at the most magical place on Earth and the only place you can act like a kid again and just have fun!

Disney Trip: Part VI

Wednesday morning was one of my favorite mornings! We made reservations months in advance for Chef Mickey, and I am so glad we did. It was loud but oh so fun! We got pictures with all the characters there...I am such a kid at heart! I took two videos of the dancing that took place every 20 min. or so, and this is the shortest...the other one is so funny but this one will do!

Jessica took this picture and it just makes me smile.

When I was making my brother and sister-in-law's rehearsal dinner slide show, I found several pictures of them doing the same/similar thing and made a section of "It was meant to be" pictures. One was of Jessica with Pluto when she was a kid and the other was of me and Jason with Pluto at a different character breakfast when we went 19 years ago...this picture was extra special because of our childhood pictures.

Such a fun morning and fun memories with Chef Mickey! We still had a full day ahead of us and went back to the Magic Kingdom to be kids again...coming soon.

Disney Trip: Part V

Are you getting tired of Disney yet? Hope not! At this point in the trip we were very tired, but there was still so much fun to be done! Tuesday night we ate at a BBQ buffet at Fort Wilderness because that was the only thing left since I waited to make reservations. I was a little worried about this meal but it ended up being pretty good and was not busy which meant a calm and relaxing dinner!
A family picture by the tree in our resort before dinner.

After dinner we headed to the Christmas party which was well worth the extra ticket price... snow on main street, complimentary sugar cookies and hot chocolate, short lines to all rides, Christmas parade, shows, and fireworks...very fun!

My most favorite ride as a 6 year old...sadly we did not do it this time.

We road this Buzz Lightyear ride 3x. You shoot the targets and get points!

Jason loved it!

Pictures from the Christmas Parade...loved it!

They were too cute throwing fake snow on each other.

Dopey is still too cute...especially with his Christmas scarf.

The gingerbread men had flat backs...like they were right off a cookie sheet.

These guys were fun, too!

loved watching the reindeer dance

Santa!

firework show...had a ton of fireworks...big, loud fireworks

There are tons of lights on the castle at Christmastime which makes it even more magical!
It was a very long night and when we were ready to leave at the end of the party...we were ready to leave. We got to our bus line right about midnight and were the only ones there and thought there would be no problem getting back since we were there first...all the other lines were very, very long. Little did we know they were sending the buses to the resorts with the longest lines...45 minutes later we got a bus. I watched the boat line while we waited and at least 3 boats came in the 45 minute period...we took the boat the rest of the trip...oh well, we learned our lesson the hard way!
