Is it really only Thursday?

Today felt like Friday which is disappointing considering it is not. Tomorrow should be a good day with only 3 patients on my caseload instead of the typical 4-5. I guess I am ready for the weekend since I have made some fun plans! Tomorrow night is dinner and a movie with friends from work! Saturday I am meeting a sweet friend from Arkansas in Memphis to catch up and shop! I am going to stay with my brother and sister-in-law Saturday night and then go to church with them Sunday morning, so I can have a chance to spend some time with them while I am in town. The family will be watching the big AL game Saturday night, so I guess I will be doing that as well!

Another Fun Weekend in Nashville

Even though we were in "class" most of the weekend, it was still so good to see a few of my classmates. We had fun visiting and even found time to go shopping. I found some fun owl items at one of my new favorite stores in Nashville. I of course purchased a few of them! I also found a book about my new camera, so I can learn more about how to use it!! Nashville is very short on gas right now and many of the stations were out. Fortunately, I can get there and back on one tank with my new car. I headed back tonight and got stuck in traffic from a wreck which made the trip home longer but it really didn't seem all that bad. Just gave me more time to think about the last 3 years and the good friendships I made while in school. I am so blessed to have met these girls and look forward to the next time we can get together. I forget how much I miss them until it is time to say good-bye again. That was the hardest part of the entire weekend and for some reason it was harder this time.

I missed the Alabama game today, but I am so proud of the Crimson Tide! It makes it better that I grew up in Arkansas and hear from my friends every time Arkansas beats us...not this year!!! Roll Tide Roll!

What's the Word, Hummingbird?

My dad enjoys watching the birds in our backyard, especially the hummingbirds. He has been asking me to sit and wait on the hummingbirds ever since I got my camera, so finally one afternoon I did just that. I sat and waited on the birds ready to get some good pictures. Here are some of the ones that were post worthy.

Leaving tomorrow for a conference! The best part is that they will be there, too! Except Stacie who is still working in Hawaii...rough life! We will miss you Stacie. You should have just hopped on a plane and joined us! :) I am ready to catch up with everyone and do some of our favorite things when we have time off from the conference!! Maybe I can squeeze in some shopping, too!
