Month of May...Get Ready for Picture Overload!

The month of May is almost over, and I have not blogged all month!! I just got wireless Internet last night, so tonight I am updating the blog from the last few weeks. There are lots of pictures...so sorry!

May started off with a sweet wedding: Sarah and Isaac! It was a beautiful wedding, and it was also great to see old friends from college!

Sara and Christy had a Fiesta for our Sunday School class.

We all had to wear the sombreros for a picture.

A few weekends ago, I got a call from one of my good friends in Arkansas asking me to come see her. I was free and loaded up my car the next weekend for the long 6 hour drive to see her and two other sweet friends. It was well worth the drive! We had a great time, and I can't wait to do it again...well, maybe meet somewhere closer!
Enjoying a little treat after dinner!

Kelli eating her first snow cone of the summer! It was always a tradition to go eat snow cones during the summer months in Arkansas...I don't think I have had one in TN...ever. Do they make them here?

My first snow cone of the summer and in a very long time!

Last Thursday we had a shower at work...I volunteered to make cupcakes! I think they are pretty cute and were definitely tasty!

Lauren opening her gifts at the shower!

Over Memorial Day weekend, my mom, dad, and I headed to Chattanooga to see my granddaddy. We decided to take him to the Aquarium! It was a lot of fun... a lot of walking, but fun to see everything. The penguins were a favorite, but I also enjoyed the butterflies.
How cute is he?

I don't know how I did it, but I love this picture!

A sea turtle!!

I don't know about you, but if I had a huge shark coming at me...I would NOT be smiling!

Dad had fun...maybe.

When I find time to learn photoshop...I will be editing this picture for sure!

Just going for a swim!
More fun things to come this month. Hopefully not all at once in the next post!

Flashback Friday!!

I was going through some old pictures the other night and found these pictures from my Freshman year at Union. It has almost been 8 YEARS!
Our first sisterhood retreat! We went to Nashville, went ice skating, and then played laser tag...I won that night! ha! I was also #5 for the entire day at that place...even with the guys in camo who were really serious about some laser tag!

This one would be from Bid Day! How fun and exciting! Except that I did not know ANYONE! This might be my only picture from the day...so sad...but I love it!

This Time Last Year...

I was one big ball of stress.
Studying 24/7.
Taking 8 practice exams.
Defending my apartment when a red wasp decided to enter.
Waking up at the slightest noise and or movement...my bed was on bed lifters for more storage, so it moved a lot...I ended up moving the mattress to the floor, so I could sleep. ha! It helped!
Eating way too much fast food to allow more time for studying.
Participating in multiple study sessions.
Totally panicking...then relying on God.
And then in May on exam day...I survived and prayed A LOT...and boy am I glad that is over!!

Dinner with Friends, Shopping, and a Lunch Date, too!

Thursday after a long day at work, I headed to the Memphis area to have dinner with some friends from Union! I haven't seen some of them in a year, so it was so great to have dinner and catch up with everyone! I spent the night since it was pretty late and then spent the day with LG and little Miles! He is too cute and was so good after being sick during the week! LG, we will definitely have to do this again real soon!!!

Lunch with LG and Miles

So happy after eating lunch!

More of the Little Bird

A friend of mine needed a baby gift and asked me to make a little bird set! This is some of my favorite fabric and the bird is always a fun one to make. Hope you like how it turned out!
